As part of the Religious and Nonprofit Security Grant application, eligible 501(c)(3) organizations must complete the questions on the Eligibility Screening Tab to ensure the minimum qualifications are met. Zoom Grants will auto approve all submissions so it is up to the applicant to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications required and are eligible to apply for this funding.  Once you determine your organization meets the minimum qualifications then proceed to the Self Assessment & Grant Application. Your application must demonstrate the ability to provide enhancements consistent with the purpose of the program and guidance of FY26-27 Leg Proviso (17) as documented in the Request for Application (RFA) which is available at Religious and Nonprofit Security Grant – Washington State Department of Commerce.

You will need to provide documents to substantiate each highest severity incident noted in your application. These documents can be attached in the Documents - Attached Here Tab.

Please ensure that you hit "SUBMIT" when you are finished with your application. Late Applications will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified from further consideration. After you submit your grant application you will receive a confirmation that your application has been submitted. Thank you!

Your application must demonstrate the ability to provide enhancements consistent with the purpose of the program and guidance of FY26-27 Legislative Proviso (17) as documented in the Request for Application. 

The Self Assessment will be used for preliminary grant application screening if Commerce receives more than 30 applications.
