Project Name is required.

• The project name is generally the name of the facility where the award. If there is no facility name at time of application, please use a short name for your project that will help us identify who and what the funding is for. 

Amount Requested is required.

• Do not leave this cell blank. A requested amount for the project, supported by bids or estimates, is required.

Total Capital Project Costs is required.

• This field is where appli­cants indicate the total cost for real property acquisition and construction of the early learning facility. This total should include all other capital costs in order to bring the early learning facility to completion. 

Applicant Information is required.

• When entering Applicant Information, please provide the Project Manager contact information as the main contact for this application.
• Organization Information is the information for the applicant.  If another entity is completing this application on behalf of the applicant, use the applicant's information.
• Providing the Executive Director or Chief Operating Officer contact information is required.  This individual will be included on all communications for this application.
• If more than the Project Manager and ED/CEO should be included on communications about this application, enter those contact email addresses on the Application Summary page under Additional Contacts.

Please be accurate when entering the information being requested. 

Ensure the amount being requested matches the total in the budget tab. Discrepancies may result in the application not proceeding to scoring.

The Documents section of the application is where you will upload the documents required and/or requested for the application. Please save forms and/or documents on your computer and then upload to ZoomGrants using the “Upload” button provided. All documents required for your project must be completed and submitted with the application. Failure to provide the requested documentation or providing inaccurate information may result in the proposal receiving less points or being disqualified.

Preliminary construction and equipment bid documents are a required part of the application and should reflect what you told us on the Budget tab. If preliminary construction and equipment bids are not yet available for the project, the applicant may submit an estimate for costs as long as that estimate is produced by an authority that has a solid reputation estimating construction project costs and can accurately estimate costs within the parameters of the proposed project.  In the estimate, identify the name of the business providing the estimate, the name of the estimator and the date the estimate was developed. 

Funding sources identified on the Budget tab must be supported by uploading documentation that either shows the funds are committed or if funds are not committed, provide a plan and timeline for getting funds committed.
