OVERVIEW:
Best Start for Kids (BSK) King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to release this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Prenatal to Five (P-5) Innovation Supports Team.
The Innovation Supports strategy offers a variety of supports to select Best Starts partnered community-based organizations through trainings and workshops, community building, shared learning convenings, and individualized supports, including coaching, small group facilitation, applied tools and resources, and referrals. These supports focus on the unique experiences of creating innovative programs that serve kids, from birth to age five, and their families. Innovation Supports are led by a team of individuals working in close partnership with Best Starts staff supporting prenatal to five strategies.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
The period of performance of any contract resulting from this RFQ is tentatively scheduled to begin on or around July 1, 2022 and to end on June 30, 2025. Amendments extending or shortening the period of performance, if any, will be at the sole discretion of DCHS.

INFORMATION SESSIONS:
Pre-application information sessions are scheduled to be held at the dates and times indicated in the schedule. The pre-application information sessions will be conducted via Zoom. Please see the RFQ document in the Library tab for the Zoom meeting information.
DCHS will be bound only to DCHS written answers to questions. Questions arising at the information sessions or in subsequent communication with the RFQ Lead will be documented and answered in written form. A copy of the questions and answers will be posted as an RFQ amendment on ZoomGrants. If no questions are asked, a questions and answers amendment will not be issued. Applicants are responsible to check ZoomGrants for any posted amendments to this RFQ.
COMMUNICATION: All documents to be submitted in response to this RFQ should be uploaded through ZoomGrants
The RFQ Lead is the sole point of contact for this procurement. All communication regarding the subject matter of this opportunity between the applicants and DCHS upon release of this RFQ must be through ZoomGrants or the RFQ Lead, as follows:
