Approximately $3.7 million in funding for Supportive Leasing that offers a responsive method for quickly providing affordable housing units that may be otherwise unavailable to low-income or no-income renters.

Download and review all of the documents in the "Guidelines and General Information" section for more information. Refer to the Application Guidelines for details. King County DCHS will offer technical assistance for this RFP at the applicant workshop and through questions submitted either through ZoomGrants or emailed to dchscontracts@kingcounty.gov with a reference to HCD ML RFP. Weekly updates and a current FAQ will be posted under the Guidelines and General Information Tab. The Information Session will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.  King County Homeless Housing Programs staff is prohibited from directly speaking with potential proposers about the proposal or the RFP until the application phase is closed. The deadline for submitting technical assistance questions regarding this application is midnight April 17, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications is by 2:00 pm on April 24, 2024. Technical questions about ZoomGrants should be directed to questions@zoomgrants.com or by calling (866) 323-5404 x2 (Monday through Friday between 7 am and 4 pm). While there is no deadline for technical support from ZoomGrants, please keep in mind that staff are only available Mountain Standard Time MST). You can also click "Help" at the top right corner of the ZoomGrants screen. In addition Grant Application Consulting (GA) is available at no cost for community-based organizations (CBOs) in developing proposals.  Please see Application Guidelines Pg. 9 Technical Assistance for more details on how to access this assistance. We recommend that you press the 'submit' button for your Application early so you will discover any technical issues that may prevent you from moving forward in the submittal process. You will be able to make changes to your application until the deadline with no problem. You do not have to hit the submit button again once you have done it the initial time.

To be considered for funding, programs must meet the minimum requirements detailed in the RFP Guidelines. Organizations may apply for funding for one or more projects. EACH program that is applying for funding must submit a separate application. EACH application must include: • Complete Summary Page in ZoomGrants; • Complete Project Application page in ZoomGrants; • Upload: “Suportive Leasing Budget Workbook 2024” (on Excel template provided)  • "Housing First Assessment Tool" workbook (on excel template provided). In addition, ONE program application per proposer (agency) shall ALSO include (upload) these required documents: • Most recent agency audit OR, a statement explaining why an agency audit is not available); • Management findings and any corrective action plans for any audits or monitoring visits within past three years. OR a letter stating that there are no findings or corrective action plans; and • For non-profit organizations: copy of 501(c) (3) letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
