This assistance is designed to assist eligible households with security deposit, first and last month's rent and utility deposits when moving into a unit. There is an income eligibility for this assistance.
This assistance requires a steady income that can be verified. Income includes: salary/wages, social security, disability, unemployment, child support, food stamps, alimony and any other recurring payments.
The following situations requiring you to move include: eviction, unsafe or unhealthy living conditions, domestic violence, or to prevent you from becoming homeless.
Documentation required include but are not limited to: Florida ID or Driver's License, Social Security card, birth certificate, income verification, bank statements, and other documents as needed.
