King County Housing Finance Program 2025 Funding Round
Intent to Apply/Pre-application
In preparation for our 2025 Capital Funding for Affordable Housing Projects Requests for Proposals (RFP), the King County Housing Finance Program (HFP) is announcing several changes to our pre-application process.
- We are no longer requiring a pre-application meeting as an eligibility requirement to submit an application for funding, though it is an option. We do strongly encourage first time applicants to request a pre-application meeting.
- Applicants are invited to submit an Intent to Apply form for each project that may be requesting HFP funds this year. Applicants are encouraged to submit an Intent to Apply form for each project that may be requesting HFP funds this year. Submission deadline is July 1; however, applicants are encouraged to submit as soon as possible. Instructions for submitting the Intent to Apply form are detailed below. This form is simplified and will help HFP maintain communication with all interested developers.
- Applicants are invited to attend a virtual information session offered prior to the release of the RFP, to learn about the 2025 Capital Funding for Affordable Housing round, such as available funds, eligible project types, and expectations regarding quality of applications. Attendance is optional, and preregistration is not required. Each session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and contain the same information, you do not need to attend all four. There will be opportunities to ask questions and discuss scenarios with staff in each session. HFP will share a summary of Frequently Asked Questions to assist those unable to attend virtual sessions. The links to the information sessions can be found on the King County HFP website (Housing Finance Program - King County, WA).
Please see the KC HFP 2025 Funding Round Handout in the Library Tab of ZoomGrants for more information on RFP priorities and timeline. We look forward to learning about your projects!
