OVERVIEW:
The King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to release this Request for Proposals (RFP) for Short-Term Housing and Housing Resource Navigation for Trueblood and Trueblood Diversion Program Class Members with funding from Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) and Phase V Trueblood Contempt Fine Funds Grant from Seattle Foundation (Phase V) and managed through the King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD).
King County recognizes the importance of housing in supporting the recovery and resiliency of individuals with behavioral health conditions, in particular, those who are part of/have been/or will likely be Trueblood Class Members.
Trueblood Class Member is being defined as any individual who is now or has a history of waiting in jail for either court-ordered evaluation of competency to stand trial or court-ordered admission for inpatient competency restoration services.
This RFP seeks to fund one or more organization(s) to provide immediately available high support short-term housing, such as an enhanced shelter or transitional housing environment, and housing resource navigation support to the Trueblood Class Member population which includes individuals currently engaging with the Trueblood Diversion Programs in King County.
