OVERVIEW:
Best Starts for Kids (Best Starts) and King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) are pleased to release this Request for Proposals (RFP) to support Youth Development programs within King County.
This RFP seeks organizations that offer programs to develop youth leadership and engagement opportunities, mentoring, positive identity, and/or healthy and safe relationships.
Best Starts anticipates this RFP will be highly competitive:
- Best Starts strongly encourages potential proposers to engage in technical assistance for help determining appropriate fit between a proposal and this funding opportunity. See RFP Section VII. Technical Assistance for full details.
- Best Starts anticipates awarding an estimated 30 to 35 contracts as a result of this RFP, with individual contract values estimated to be a minimum of $100,000 and a maximum of $400,000.
