OVERVIEW:
The King County Department of Community and Health Services (DCHS) Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD) is pleased to release this Request for Proposals (RFP) for King County Integrated Care Network (KCICN) and Behavioral Health Administrative Service Organization (BHASO) behavioral health providers for innovative solutions to support the Behavioral Health Workforce in alignment with the following goals:
- Creating resources to stabilize King County’s community Behavioral Health Workforce from 2024-2026 through investments such as:
- Financial assistance with license and other professional fees,
- Training and supporting the professional development of staff,
- Retaining and supporting the wellbeing of workers through activities that promote the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees, and
- Partnering with the SEIU 1199 Multiemployer Health Career Fund (https://healthcareerfund.org/), to support eligible activities such as tuition assistance, professional development costs, certification fees, student supports, and career counseling, managed through a labor-management partnership training fund.
- At least 25 percent of funding awarded through this RFP must be used to increase the representativeness of community behavioral health workers.

- LOI Due: September 19, 2024 by 2:00 PM
- LOI Email Notes from DCHS: September 20, 2024
- Pre-Proposal Conference - RFP: September 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and September 26, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Final day to submit questions: September 27, 2024
- Proposals Due: October 18, 2024 by 12:00 p.m.
