OVERVIEW:

Best Starts for Kids (BSK) and King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to release this Request for Proposals (RFP) to support Youth Development programs within King County.

 

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 

July 2022 through June 2025

 

PROCUREMENT TIMELINE:

Information Sessions: April 13, 2022 - 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and April 14, 2022 - 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (See Section V.C. of the RFP document for further details.)

Final Day to Submit Questions: April 19, 2022

Final Day to Request Technical Assistance: May 2, 2022

Proposals Due: May 16, 2022 by 2:00 PM Pacific Time

 

COMMUNICATION: 

All documents to be submitted in response to this RFP should be uploaded through ZoomGrants.

The RFP Lead is the sole point of contact for this procurement. All communication regarding the subject matter of this opportunity between the applicants and DCHS upon release of this RFP must be through ZoomGrants or the RFP Lead, as follows:

Proposers are advised to review these documents in their entirety for guidance on the purpose, requested program models, application questions, and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications  [hide this]

Eligible applicants must meet the following minimum qualification:

This request is only open to organizations serving communities in King County that are any of the following: (1) not-for-profit organizations (or fiscally sponsored by an organization) with 501(c)3 status (including community-based or faith-based organizations), (2) tribes and tribal organizations, (3) schools and school districts, or (4) public or governmental entities: community-based, faith-based, tribes and tribal schools and school districts, public or governmental organizations serving communities in King County. Women of color led organizations, small non-profits, community-based organizations, young people-led organizations serving in King County are encouraged to submit proposals. King County departments or offices are not eligible per the County Council mandate. Any organizations debarred (i.e., banned, disqualified, excluded) from receiving federal funds will not be awarded funding.
