COMMUNITY PLACEMAKING GRANTS
2024 grant cycle
Metro's Community Placemaking program helps people tackle community challenges or opportunities through creative, arts-based, equity-focused projects. Grants support efforts that foster connection to place, strengthen social fabric and involve and benefit communities of color and other historically marginalized communities. Thank you for taking the time to apply. Metro staff and the community-based review panel look forward to reviewing your application.
Helpful guidance appears in the application handbook. Staff is also here to help. Contact Dana Lucero at dana.lucero@oregonmetro.gov.

Application review process
Applications are reviewed by a group of community members of color who work at the intersection of arts and social justice in the Portland region. Make sure your proposal is clear, compelling and sufficiently defined so they can understand how well it meets the program's objectives. Grant awards will be announced in early January.
