A Cultural STAR Program Workshop will be held virtually on February 10th, 2026. If you cannot attend, a recording will be shared on the Cultural STAR webpage in the days following the workshop. 

All application questions must be answered, unless otherwise stated, and all required documentation must be attached before your application is considered complete. Completed applications must be submitted through ZoomGrants.com by 4:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2026. Technical ZoomGrants questions should be sent to Questions@ZoomGrants.com. The Technical Support desk can be reached at (866)323-5404 x2 and is staffed from 9am - 6pm CST.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY ANSWERS BLANK. If a question does not apply to your organization or proposed project, please enter or check N/A in the answer space. All applicable narrative questions should have well-thought-out responses. All narrative questions must be answered. Responding "N/A" to the narrative questions may result in disqualification. Be sure to review all responses before submitting, as there will be no opportunity for applicants to amend their proposals once they are submitted.

If you are copying and pasting your responses from a Word document, please remove all special formatting including bold, italicized, and/or underlined texts, bullet points, etc., before pasting your responses. 

The ZoomGrants character counter that you see on some text boxes counts anything that takes up space in that text box, including:

• Letters
• Numbers
• Symbols
• Spaces
• Carriage Returns (may be counted as 2 characters)

Your answers will automatically save as you move through the questions. You’ll see a quick flash of a ‘Saving’ screen that will indicate that your update is being saved. When it disappears, that field has been updated and you can move on to the next field. 

A continually flashing ‘Saving’ screen indicates that your change has not been or cannot be saved. To ensure you do not lose your work, do not keep working on the application or program until you have identified the cause of the saving issue. Common saving issues include special formatting, such as bullet points, in one of your responses and/or poor internet connection. Please reach out to ZoomGrants directly by emailing them at questions@zoomgrants.com if you are unable to find the issue and need additional technical ZoomGrants assistance. It may take 24-48 hours for ZoomGrants to respond, so be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to account for technical issues.

You can log out and log back in as many times as you need to, to finish the application before the deadline.

Due to the volume of applications this program receives, there will be no opportunity for applicants to make edits to their application once it is submitted. All documents identified as "Required" must be attached. You will not be able to submit your application if all required documents have not been uploaded. Submitting a blank document or a note stating"will submit upon request", etc. will not be accepted, and your application will be considered incomplete and thus ineligible. If you cannot provide a required document, please reach out to STAR staff by emailing us at ped-culturalstar@stpaul.gov to discuss your options.
