The City of Elk Grove is accepting applications for the Community Service Grant (CSG) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs for the 2021-22 Fiscal Year. Applicants may apply for either or both of the grants using the same application. Complete one application for each proposed program or project.
Applications must be submitted electronically through ZoomGrants no later than 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. ZoomGrants will automatically close the application at that time. Applications may only be submitted if complete and all required documents have been uploaded, so allow adequate time for completion and uploading prior to the deadline.
Application Workshop and Public Meeting Webinar
The City will hold a public meeting and technical assistance webinar to assist applicants and provide members of the public an opportunity to share their thoughts on what types of activities are most needed in Elk Grove. Applicants and members of the public are encouraged to participate in the public webinar held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 12:30-2:00pm. To participate please register here.

General Application Tips
Organizations eligible to submit applications include registered nonprofit organizations in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service and local government entities serving residents of Elk Grove. For profit entities and individuals are not eligible to apply for grants.

Review the DOCUMENTS tab for the required documents list early in your submission process. Some of the documents may take time to pull together. You will not be able to submit your application unless you have uploaded all the required documents. If your organization does not have a required document please contact City staff for further instructions.
Make sure to SUBMIT the application when you are finished. Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to make changes. You do not need to submit a paper copy of the application.
Note that the application and all attachments are subject to disclosure via the Public Records Act. Please remove any sensitive information (e.g., client names, bank account numbers, etc.) from documents prior to submission.
