The Office for Victims Programs (OVP), a unit of the Division of Criminal Justice within the Colorado Department of Public Safety, announces the estimated availability of up to $15 million (total announced is the amount available for 1 year) in federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Program funds for the implementation of the Extraordinary VOCA Funding Opportunity. All applications must be submitted via ZoomGrants by 11:59 pm on Monday, June 28, 2019. Staff will not be available after 5:00 p.m. to answer questions on June 28th. Extraordinary VOCA Grant Program Funds The Office for Victims Programs is committed to the physical and emotional recovery of crime victims and to the restoration of victims' confidence in the criminal justice system. This Announcement describes the application and funding process to federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funds for a single grant award period. Funds will be allocated in accordance with state and federal requirements. Applications are being accepted from eligible organizations for one-year projects that address one or more of the project purposes.
